National Mathematics Day is celebrated to commemorate the contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan to the history of Mathematics. His contributions are innumerable. He had provided a new dimension to infinite series, number theory, mathematical analysis etc. thus, the celebration of the National Mathematics Day started to inspire more youth to pursue their dreams and ambitions. On account of National Mathematics Day, SSRVM Bangalore South Math Department had conducted various Math competitions along with a special assembly.

Leading up to National Mathematics Day on 22nd December, the students of Grade I participated in a fun and engaging Math Fancy Dress Competition. Dressed as numbers, shapes and mathematical concepts, our young learners showcased creativity while building a joyful connection with mathematics.
