Marking the festival of Tulsi Damodar Vivaha that celebrates the ceremonial marriage of the holy basil plant, Tulsi (considered a goddess), to Lord Vishnu, represented as Damodar (an aspect of Vishnu associated with the month of Kartik), the students Tulsi Pooja was organised at school to educate the students about the significance of the Tulsi plant in Indian culture, Ayurveda and also to foster environmental awareness.
